I like to think of flashpackers as more than simply tourists in that they are willing to take the time to think about the consequences of their actions on the country they are traveling through. In many respects this makes them the best of the best when it comes to tourists. Money to spend, respect for the culture and a willingness to give something back.<br/><br/>P.S. Glad to see that you've made it to Thailand. Hope you had a great trip!
